In theory yes that would be sufficient, however the sound will be mono of course… then again some club setups are even mono. On the other hand some clubs require you to plug in via balanced line outputs etc. etc.
So you should actually talk to the club owner what he expects from you (e.g. with what cable(s) he want’s you to connect to his PA).
You should also look into your laptop’s soundcard, some laptop soundcards really suck. You cannot hear that via the internal speakers, but if you connect really good headphones or a PA the sound quality will be sad.

If you are looking into cheap options for a sound-card, most “value” soundcards come at around 100 bucks.
If you buy a NI A2 you get Traktor Pro 2 for free, which is at this price point a nice option.
Somewhat cheaper you should get the entry soundcards from reloop and numark, both get the job done nicely and cost about 60-70 bucks street price.
If you are really low on budget there is the gemini entry thing for about 30 bucks, it is OK output wise, however it is VERY plasticy and I have no idea if it holds up over time.

So talk to the club owner what he expects first, then decide what you buy/do.
