    Currently iTunes gives you 256kbit AAC (File ending .m4a) it is not possible to get mp3’s.

    Apparently some studies say that AAC has the advantage of having the same quality with one kbit step less than mp3. (That would make a 256kbit AAC euqal in quality as a 320k mp3). If this is true for you is open for debate, as some folks still swear on lossless wav files. I can honestly not hear a difference in sound between a wav file and 192k AACs and I have excellent hearing and excellent monitors.

    Hi Terry, thanks for your reply. I thought that was the case but just wanted some confirmation.
