ParticipantMe soon, mine should arrive next week 🙂
Im definitly looking forward to it, although the remixdecks already got hacked for use with the midifighter3D – but shipping costs & toll makes it not an option for me 😉
Hope NI roll out their updates for 2.5 fast… sudden freezes are no fun for anyone…

ParticipantMyself any many user report improved performance compared to the previous few updates but I’m confident the next update will make things even tighter. NI are trying to make 2.5 a gamechanger so I’m sure they will make sure it has even tighter performance for the next update.

ParticipantI have 2 of them and totaly love them. I’ve been useing them mainly to make mashups. I’ve now got a Maschine Mikro too so I can make some loops to be used in the remixdecks making some cool basslines and drum loops to add to original tracks. I have totally changed the way I DJ since I got my new (Toys)

I’ve been wanting to get the Maschine Mikro (so cheap now). How is it working for youwith your set up?Is is possible to have both Traktor and Maschine at the same time, create a beat on Maschine Mikro and import it on the F1??
July 19, 2012 at 8:45 pm #1008189Michael Lawrence
ParticipantYes! U don’t need to import, just drag and drop

Hey how do you find your latency is with the F1. I was using it quite a bit yesterday had a columns going and noticed to CPU spiked quite high. Took off key lock, made a slight difference…have you modified your sample rate at all and what latency setting do you tend to use when your using it?
side note: made my first remix deck yesterday and its insane! lol .. ive seen so many people complain that it takes so long and its boring to do…but…i think its pretty fun and really doesnt take that long if you have a good plan as to how you want to structure everything.

ParticipantI’m using the default settings for the F1, truth be told I don’t think I’ve even looked at them in the preferences. I haven’t noticed any lag or anything. I did notice that CPU load goes up slightly with key lock but I never use that garbage. I only ever have one latency setting for my Mid 2010 Macbook Pro (I think its a 2.66 i7 processor) set to a sample rate of 44.1 and off the top of my head (I’m trying to look busy at work) its at 8.7 ms latency which is 2nd lowest setting for 44.1. I like to give the load a little breathing space but don’t notice any difference from 7ish ms.
