Question for beaTunes Users Out There

I use both MiK 5 and beaTunes.
But I use both for different things: Keyfinding with MiK and keeping the metadata (tags) of my collection consistent with beaTunes (the Inspection-Function works great for me).
I also use the beaTunes color codes to find matching tracks, u could really get some interesting and unexpected playlists.
(not always, but still there are usefull proposal from beaTunes you could consider).
To get consistent results for your Keys u should only use one programm, they are both far from 100% accurate regarding key detection, but they are both consistent, meaning even if they detect the wrong key the tracks usally match more or less with the other tracks and similiar keys analysed with the same algorithm.
This is not the case if you use different algorithms to analyse your tracks.

Ah, yes, right, I forgot Platinium Notes. I use that as well, I doubted at first it would be of any use, but after reading some reviews, I used it with some old 256-mp3’s and the results just blew me away. Nowadays, I buy new tracks in flac or wav-Format. I was all those years a believer there is no noticable difference, but then I heard some of my tracks on a friends Highend Hifi gear. There is a difference, even I can hear it with my 50 years old ears.
But we made a blind test with my friends kids, which are in their early 20’s, they could tell the difference in 100% of the tracks, if we played mp3 or original wav-Files.
We should not forget, that a maybe much younger audience hear much better, than those of us past their 30’s.
