They’re both good, S2 is lighter and emphasises sample decks more so may be the best of the two for you.

I recommend you to stick with your MC6000 and get an X1 for more knobs in EFX….

Also the latest SW upgrade for MC6000 gives you full controll over sample decks!
have you upgraded to latest SW?? There is a TSI file that comes with it……

im already have one, and use it, but what i dont like in mv6000, its to complicated to ma led-outputs on him
and he dont have filter knobs, im mapped it to gain knobs, but them dont have middle click, so during the party its getting me nervous lttle bit.
Original mapping of denon not so intuitive like in S4, so im trying to find different options

    ill explain myself deeper:
wht i like in traktor s2: fully integrated in traktor, much lighter then others, sound quality, and very intuitive mapping in NHL mode
i dont like in traktor s2: lack of controls like filters, and i need control of 8 cue points and buttons like next cue/ prev cue, also the control over sampledecks is simple without controlling of lenght and filter over slot, like in S4. I know i can map int in the MIDI mode, but as im loosing the advantage of NHL mode.

what i like in RDJ3: original mapping very similar to a s4, and mapping is mch easier from denon
dont like: the weight – same like mc6000
and im not sure about sound quality – in every review that i saw peoples says that sound of S2 is perfet, but about RDJ they saying – the sound is ok. So this OK getting me to think , that ound quality not so good like s2

    thx

I am sorry to nag at you but I feel sad when I see that you are about to do somthing in my oppinion stupd that I do think you will regret.

Therefore I will give it one more try:

There are filterknobs on the MC6000 that has buttons below to activate/deactivate so that should not be an argument IMO

Can you confirm that you have the latest SW upgrade from Denon and that you have tried the .TSI that is included??
The older .TSI that comes with the MC6000 is not that intiutive but IMO the new one for T2 is very good!

The sound quality on MC6000 is IMO the best on the market, I am convinced that you will not gain in soundquality if you get an S2/S4.

The wight is IMO a good thing as I would not be satisfied with a unit that wobbles arround all over the place when I push a fader to the top as I have seen in promo videos for both S4 and Pio units!

The S2/S4 is very good units that is very tight to Traktor but IMO they do not have the best quality as MC6000 has!
I felt it as soon as I touched the unit and asked the rep. Shall it feel like this or is this a pre sample?
It was not a pre sample……

So you should really try them before buying and if you want some help with LED output I could try to hook you up with a friend of mine who has done some serious mapping on his MC60000

ok, thx for advice, im confir that i have latest sw version from july, ill give anothe try to original TSI,
bu about mappings of leds i dont need help, im ok with mappings, but its to much work to do, because every led i have to programm 2 state on and off. and also its not like in other controllers…
but ill think one more time about selling it.
Bu im confused about sound quality, because everyone today tells that s2/s4 have exellent sound quality…
