Are you wanting to run timecode?

If so, you wont have a hope sorry.

However, if you just want to run your S4 into the house mixer, them go for it. Don’t worry about the DJM900’s soundcard, just set up like your S4 like normal and plug the master outs from the S4 into a spare input on the house mixer. You should be good to go then.

I’m pretty sure you can run the soundcard of the S4 mains into a free channel and select digital for the input it will work fine.

mind you, everything will be done on the s4 and just run the with the channel fader open and everything flat.

I’m not sure how you would use both to control one traktor, but i think this will help you.

When I plugged into a djm-800 thats what I did and it was fine when I owned the s4.

You should’nt have a problem here if you’ll be using your S4 and your own laptop. Just simply run your RCAs from the main output of your S4 to any available channel on the 900nexus (make sure that you connect it to the line in and not the phono and also that the channel is set to digital or line out) and you’ll be good to go.
