i was just about to post one of these, lol. Thats the reason I just came here!! hahahaha. I am dying to know what the price for the this new tool will be, I’m estimating a good 500-600 or so, which is way above my price range, so I’ll be sticking to my plan for an x1. But if I ever get the cash, I think this will be my next purchase, although I would definitely like to see some reviews on this before I even consider shelling out the cash for it.

Edit: the price is 669 USD. Very cool unit though

That’s it. I shelled on a S4 out about 5 days before this got announced, but I still want the S4 ๐Ÿ˜‰

I do not like the S4 because of the hardware/feel of it.
It is plastic and the knobs and faders is not top quality like Denon or Pio.
Must likely the S2 is based on the same pice of olatic and lack the solid feel that the Denon MC 6000 has.
I stick to the the Denon MC6000 :-))

It’s going to be good for people who want a top quality name but cannot afford a top quality name. So i think it will be a little success..

As for me my next upgrade is CDJ2000s ๐Ÿ™‚

I like it but it seems like if your gonna go this route at this price, I would save up a little more and get the S4.

I’ll second the MC6000. The S4 is better laid out for Traktor, but the buttons are small and of poor quality. MC6000 may seem cramped, but that’s because it has those nice, big buttons. It also feels more solid. I assume the S2 will be of similar build as the S4…

If I had the $, I’d upgrade to a MC6000, for sure. S4 isnt bad, it’s just not great. In the mean time, I’ll stick with my VCI-100.
