Native Instruments just announced a public beta for an upcoming version of its Traktor Pro 3 software. Traktor 3.2.0 beta includes improvements to Traktor’s Elastique pitch / time-stretching engine for smoother harmonic mixing (aka key mixing), and a control has been added for easier pitching up or down of a track one semitone (half-step) at a time.

Traktor received a shot in the arm this past year thanks to excellent new hardware releases in the form of the Traktor Kontrol S4 Mk3 and Traktor Kontrol S2 Mk3. The app itself has also received some TLC from NI: recent updates have given the long-running app a cleaner UI, new Mixer FX, and even stacked waveforms. This new update aims to make key mixing more accessible, and the features will be a welcome addition to Traktor Pro 3.

• The Traktor 3.2.0 public beta is live now. Check the Traktor site to join.
