I’ve got pretty annoyed this week reading some of the negative comments posted on YouTube channel by DJs moaning at pretty much anything and everything new and exciting in DJing – gear that works with phones, DJing from streaming services, functions that help you to mix, all that kind of stuff.
In this vlog (apologies in advance: I rant a bit, and there’s some mild British swearing), I explain why I think they’re wrong – and why I think they’re actually damaging DJing, this thing they claim to love so much.
I also reassure you, if you’re a new DJ (because ultimately, it’s not the gear, it’s lots and lots of new DJs USING the new stuff that this miserable lot really hate), that you’re doing OK – ignore them!
