Not many people know this, but since the end of January we’ve been quietly releasing weekly episodes of our first ever podcast. It’s something I’ve wanted to do for years, and I’m so glad to finally get it launched.
Called “Tales From The Dancefloor”, basically it’s me sitting down for “fireside chats” with my friends and contacts in the music industry. You get to listen in as we talk about everything, like how they got into it, what they regret, how they got their lucky breaks – and what advice they give to people doing the same things today.
We’re proud of the episodes so far, and I’ve interviewed people you may know (including our very own Joey Santos and Steve Canueto, and our favourite gear reviewer, Mojaxx) and some you may not, but whose stories are awesome.
The latter include Karim Morsy (founder of Algoriddim, the makers of djay Pro), Dan Tait (the host of Pioneer DJ Radio), and Adam Dutch (who is one of the best-known mashup artists in the world).
