This Periodic Table Of Elements Is Unlike Anything You’ve Seen Before

This limited edition poster by Art Misfit shows a timeline of key dates in DJ history from the creation of the phonograph leading up to the Second Summer Of Love in 1988.

Here’s another crossover between dance music and (ahem) chemicals: Art Misfit has created the Periodic Table Of The DJ, a poster in celebration of the 30th anniversary of the “Second Summer Of Love”. It’s considered to be one of the most crucial eras in UK clubbing and a turning point in dance music itself.

The poster looks like the Periodic Table Of Elements that you studied in Chemistry 101, but instead lists key dates in the history of dance, starting from the invention of the phonograph in the 19th century all the way up to the acid house boom.

This is how the full Periodic Table Of The DJ poster looks like – it comes in both A1 and A2 sizes.

If you’re looking for wall art to profess your love for electronic dance music, this looks like a good pick. It’d look good beside the History Of Acid House poster that was released sometime last year, too.

• The Periodic Table Of DJs is available now for £135. Order yours at the Art Misfit store.

What do you think of this poster? Want it for your home DJ studio set-up? Let us know in the comments if you’re getting one.
