Allen & Heath’s Long Awaited Xone:96 Mixer Now Shipping

The Xone:96 is a mixer for purists, and looks set to inspire a new breed of digital DJs just like the Xone:92 did for the analogue world.

Allen & Heath’s Xone:96 DJ mixer is now shipping. The pro-grade mixer takes the iconic Xone:92’s classic analogue sound, but overhauls the spec with state-of-the-art digital-age connectivity.

The four-channel Xone:96 has dual Xone:VCF filters, a dual 24-channel, 32-bit USB sound card, two dedicated FX sends, four stereo input channels (with four-band EQ), two stereo input channels with three-band parametric EQ, and two auxiliary stereo return channels.

Allen & Heath has been touring the mixer all summer and says that the response from the professionals who have had the opportunity to road test it has been resoundingly positive – something we can confirm having had a chance to play on the mixer at the Digital DJ Tips studios this summer.

It’s in retailers now at $1999/£1599.
