DJ Carlo Atendido doesn’t hold back for this week’s DJ Skill Session (NSFW, by the way), dropping Lil Wayne, Kendrick Lamar and, erm, Austin Powers. Check out the way he uses a mixture of acapellas and instrumentals to make a very mashup-flavoured mix.
The mood veers from menacing to playful and back again, and there is judicious use of echo, slicer, and of course Carlo’s trademark scratching. Watch out for the fast pad scratch on the DDJ-SB3 too.
