Pro Tips & Tricks: How To Use Mono Split On Mixers & DJ Controllers

Mono Split is a control that nowadays tends to be found only on pro club mixers, although it used to be common on all DJ gear. And for good reason – in situations when there isn’t proper DJ monitoring and the DJ is a long way from the nearest speaker (or indeed for situations where there are no speakers at all – for instance, DJing at night in a house where everyone else is asleepp…), Mono Split can be your saviour.

(Note Mono Split is not to be confused with mono splitter cables, which are an entirely different thing.)
