Poster Reimagines Acid House As A Roland TR-303 Circuit Diagram

This limited edition art print is a thematic representation of the key names, places, scenes and more around the emergence of acid house in the late 80s and early 90s.

A history of dance music and rave culture has been mapped out on the circuit diagram of a 303 bass synthesiser, as a limited edition art print.

The Dorothy Acid House Love Blueprint features over 900 DJs, clubs, musicians, free parties, sound systems, record labels, radio stations and fanzines who were pivotal to the evolution of acid house, and its subsequent impact on dance music and rave culture.

The print pays homage to the cities, clubs and individuals that were forerunners of acid house, rave and dance culture including Manchester’s Hacienda, New York’s Loft parties and Paradise Garage, and Chicago’s Warehouse.

It’s organised around key scenes, clubs, and DJs including Ibiza and the Balearic beat, London’s acid house scene, the North of England’s scene, Berlin’s techno scene , the rave scene of the late 80s early 90s, and the free party soundsystems.

It’s available in blue or yellow as a single-colour screen print at wearedorothy.com.
