New Reloop SHP-8 Headphones Offer A Bass Boost Switch

Aimed at the DJ booth and the studio, Reloop's SHP-8 headphones also have a "bass boost"-type switch to apparently add +3dB and +6dB to the bass response.

European DJ brand Reloop has announced its SHP-8 headphones, a mid-market model aimed at producers and DJs. Closed back and sturdily built, the gun-metal coloured aluminium headphones come with a detachable 3.5mm stereo jack cable, with “spring-loaded bend protection to avoid cable breakage”.

More interestingly though is that the headphones have a switch that let you boost the low frequencies by +3 dB or +6 dB, which according to Reloop makes it “easy to adapt the SHP-8 to different applications” – that means studio to booth and back again, basically.

The Reloop SHP-8 headphones come with a detachable cable and a soft bag.

Priced at €99, the SHP-8 headphones have rotatable earcups, come with a soft bag, and should be available right around now. More info at the Reloop website.
