New Free Sample Service For DJ/Producers Announced By LANDR

LANDR's new free Samples service provides royalty-free inspiration for producers who are stuck in their productions.

There’s another new sample service for DJs and producers, this time a free one from LANDR, the AI mastering and music distribution service.

The Samples service (hey, original title!) provides royalty-free samples from artists such as Dirty Projectors, Blue Hawaii and Alan Parsons, and the company has promised free use to its community of 1.7 million DJs and producers.

LANDR also says it plans to provide support services for musicians creating samples, including educational resources on best practices for creating sample packs, selling loops, one-shots and other sample-based content.

“As a musician, you often find yourself stuck creatively. With Samples, you can spark new ideas for tracks by playing with sounds from outside your main genre,” said LANDR’s Creative Director and musician Rory Seydel.

“We are giving back to the musicians that have helped make LANDR a success, and providing new possibilities for them to create great music in the future.”

You can sign up at the LANDR Samples website.
