Denon DJ Improves Jogs & Mics On MC7000 Serato DJ Controller

The MC7000 is popular among gigging and event DJs, and has just had some firmware improvements made.

Denon DJ has just released a firmware update for its MC7000 Serato DJ controller, adding improvements that will appeal to its market of event and gigging DJs.

Varying platter sensitivity can be a problem when setting your gear up in different environments, so Denon DJ has added a platter sensitivity setting to help DJs fine tune before starting their gigs.

It is also now possible for DJs to take more control over the microphone channels, with adjustable mic attenuation and adjustable talkover level and resume speed.

There are a handful of other hardware setting improvements, and the free download of v1.2 of the firmware for the MC7000 is available now from Denon DJ’s website.

• You can download the firmware for free from Denon DJ’s website
