Evermix MixBox2 Hits Stores, Offers A New Way To Record & Share Your DJ Sets

Designed to be taken to the club with you, the Evermix MixBox is a great way of saving and sharing your DJ sets with the minimum of hassle.

The Evermix MixBox 2 device has hit stores, offering DJs a new and easy way to record their sets in high quality and with minimum fuss, and then to save them safely in the cloud, either for private use or for sharing on social and sites such as SoundCloud and Mixcloud. The device can also be used for livestreaming, for example on Facebook Live.

It plugs between a mixer or controller and your iOS device, and is powered directly by the iOS device, using about 10% of battery per hour of recording. An optional USB power lead means that you can power it externally too, which has the added bonus of also charging your phone.

Unlike recording direct to phone using an audio cable (if your phone still has a headphone socket, of course…), these recordings are in stereo, and MixBox 2 takes care of recording level for you too, meaning it is possible to upload a decent quality recording directly. But if you do want to work on your mix on your laptop first, you can remove it from the phone via iTunes, and upload it to where you want from there.

The Evermix MixBox2 is the result of a successful crowdfunding campaign, and is available now from the Evermix website.
