Serato just launched the latest version of its Serato DJ software. The version 1.9.8 update brings compatibility with Pioneer DJ’s forthcoming DJM-S3 battle mixer and DDJ-SR2 DJ controller. The Beatjump feature has also been added for the Pioneer CDJ-2000NXS2 media player.
It’s been a busy past few months for Serato: it added support for a lot of new gear from Rane (Seventy-Two, Twelve), Numark (DJ2GO2, NS6II), Roland (DJ-505, DJ-202) and now Pioneer DJ. It also released its own production software in the form of Serato Sample. What else could our friends from New Zealand have in store for us this year? Your guess is as good as ours…
