Pioneer DJ just launched its WeDJ DJing software for Android devices. It’s a two-channel app that lets you spin with music from your smartphone or tablet. You can also hook up the Pioneer DJ DDJ-WeGO4 or DDJ-WeGO3 controller for tactile spinning.
We’ve already reviewed the WeDJ app for iOS and thought that it’s an easy-to-use app for DJing house parties and small gatherings. It’s made even more powerful when paired with a compatible controller because it lets you get more hands-on with the functions of the app.
• WeDJ for Android is now available as a free download on the Google Play Store. Check the Pioneer DJ site for more details.
What are your thoughts on DJing with a smartphone or tablet? Do you think it’s good enough for parties, or would you rather spin from a laptop? Share your thoughts below.
