Mixvibes To Follow Success Of Remixlive With Remixvideo

Mixvibes scored a – possibly unexpected – big hit with Remixlive, the easy-to-use sample looping app. Now it looks like the company is trying to do the same for video with Remixvideo, pictured here.

Mixvibes – the company behind the intuitive, fun Remixlive Mac/PC/iOS/Android loop and pad-based music sketching software – has teased a product which at first glance looks like doing the same thing for video clips as Remixlive did for audio. In short, Remixvideo lets you mix video and audio samples in sync.

It’ll initially be launched on the Mac, but we’re going to guess that it’ll be rolled out subsequently across other platforms including iOS. Mixvibes tells us that it supports Ableton Link and can be synced with any compatible music software, and works as a standalone app as well as an AU/VST plugin for using with a digital audio workstation.

The release date is set for 9 Feb, but for now there’s a teaser video (see below).
