Serato DJ 1.9.2 Released, Adds Subscription Plans

Serato just announced Serato DJ 1.9.2, which lets you purchase Serato DJ, Serato DJ Suite, and all Serato DJ expansions through subscription plans.

Serato just released a new update to Serato DJ. As we revealed a few months back, version 1.9.2 lets you purchase the software and its expansions through three subscription plans: US$9.99/month gets you Serato DJ, US$9.99/month gets you all the expansion packs (good for those who already own Serato DJ), and US$14.99/month gets you the full Serato DJ Suite.

There are also some changes to library browsing, as well as a variety of stability improvements and bug fixes to both Serato DJ and the Serato Video plugin. Rane Sixty-series mixers are also finally supported in Mac OSX El Capitan.

If you’ve wanted to try out the extra performance features that the Serato DJ expansions provide (the FX packs are a good place to start), the subscription model lets you have the full experience for a very little spend, and you can always choose not to renew it if you decide that it’s not for you.
