[NAMM 2016] ADJ VMS5 Controller & Mixer

ADJ just announced the VMS5, a new four-channel DJ controller with an onboard soundcard and a hardware mixer.

ADJ just announced the VMS5, the latest model in its VMS DJ controller series. It features a four-channel mixer section, upsized jogwheels, and an updated layout. The VMS5 can also be used standalone – it comes with two phono inputs, four line inputs, and two mic inputs. It ships with Virtual DJ 8 LE, and the crossfader is user replaceable (compatible with an Innofader).

The feature updates make it seem better than the VMS4.1, which offered a lot but suffered a bit in terms of reliability. We saw its prototype last year, and we’re sure to see this final version over at the NAMM Show this coming week, so stay tuned for our hands on.

• The ADJ VMS5 will be available from April 2016. Visit the ADJ website for more details.
