BPM 2015: Reloop Tape 2.0

Tape 2.0 is the latest version on Reloop’s cute little Tape concept, a USB recording device for quickly capturing your DJ sets straight from the mixer.

Reloop has told us about Tape 2.0 ahead of the BPM Show this weekend here in Birmingham, UK. Tape is a clever little cassette tape-shaped device that lets you record your DJ sets straight to USB (USB drive not included), and Tape 2.0 is the latest version of this device.

To use it, you power it up (universal power adaptor included), connect your USB drive, connect your mixer and input cable., and press “Record”. There’s a phono/line switch including a GND grounding post making it a good choice for digitising vinyl too.

Even mixers that do not feature a separate record output can be connected as Reloop has included a thru port which routes the signal on to the amplifier or speakers. Here’s our Reloop Tape review from a couple of years back.
