[NAMM 2015] Video: Numark Mixtrack Pro 3 Talkthrough

The new Mixtrack Pro 3 from Numark has a very different design, and improvements including per-channel filters and long-throw pitch controls.

Numark’s Mixtrack Pro then the Mixtrack Pro 2 have been constant go-to first controller among our readers for many years, so among the glamour of the more expensive, feature-laden controllers released here at NAMM 2015 this week, the release of the Numark Mixtrack Pro 3 is pretty big news.

The Mixtrack Pro 3 (and Mixtrack 3, identical apart from coming with different software and having no audio interface) sports a radical redesign, thinner, shallower and longer than the Mk 2, and has had a features upgrade with metal jogwheels, long-throw pitch controls, touchstrips for FX control, and expanded functionality on the eight pads.
